JOB SUMMARY

Responsible to process orders promptly and efficiently while providing excellent customer service with a positive attitude. We want to ensure the return of our guests, because the success of our business depends on it. You will educate guests and colleagues about our coffee and tea varieties, juices and smoothies, and work with co-workers to keep the outlet running smoothly.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• ◆Maintain the highest level of standards for all product preparation, including proper grinding of coffee beans and top quality espresso shots
• ◆Produce superior product presentation
• ◆Educate guests on our coffee products and be knowledgeable about coffee in all aspects
• ◆Be familiar with the juice and smoothie menu and recipes
• ◆Assist in the preparation of fruits and vegetables for juice and smoothie items
• ◆Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products
• ◆Adhere to all company recipes and measurements
• ◆Take care of the espresso machine and clean it thoroughly at the end of each business day
• ◆Maintain the blending and juicing equipment and any other equipment
• ◆Keep the work area clean and organised so that co-workers and management can find what they need
• ◆Check and update all HSE and HACCP standard checklists, check expiry dates daily and always apply the FIFO rule during service
• ◆Know every menu offered in each outlet in order to be able to offer recommendations
• ◆Perform other duties as required by the Head Barista, Outlet Manager and immediate supervisors
