JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a detail-oriented and trustworthy General Cashier with strong administrative skills. The General Cashier manages all cash transactions efficiently and accurately, reconciles daily reports and performs general administrative duties to support smooth operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- ◆Count and verify all cash and credit transactions at the end of each shift
- ◆Prepare daily cash reports, deposit slips and accurate financial records
- ◆Reconcile cashier reports with system data and address any discrepancies
- ◆Process refunds, discounts and other cashier adjustments as required
- ◆Maintain proper control of the cash float and petty cash
- ◆Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry and maintaining company records
- ◆Prepare reports, memos and correspondence as needed
- ◆Support other team members and departments with financial queries
- ◆Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and safety regulations
- ◆Perform other duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- ◆College diploma or equivalent; certification in accounting or a related field is a plus
- ◆Proven work experience as a cashier or general cashier
- ◆Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
- ◆Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
- ◆Familiarity with basic administrative and office tasks, including filing, data entry and report preparation
- ◆Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- ◆A high level of honesty and integrity
- ◆Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the flexibility to work weekends and holidays
